The application is useful to confirm your presence on locations that are using iBeacon scanners. Your phone becomes a beacon that can be tracked as long as the app is opened. A simple example is tracking your location in conferences so that exhibitors know your interest in them. You must submit your e-mail in order to give an identity to the generated beacon.
